Mixed woodland along streams

Some wet areas, along streams, are characterised by scattered mature Alder and Ash, together with Wych Elm, young Sycamore, Oak and Field Maple.

There is a diverse shrub layer including frequent Hazel, Dog Rose and Guelder Rose.

The ground flora is also rich and includes Yellow Archangel, Pignut, Lesser Celandine, Wood Anemone, Dog's Mercury and Angelica.
