HAIL MARY HILL & FALCONER WOODS - VEGETATION

Both Falconer Wood and Hail Mary Hill Wood are thought to be semi-natural and of ancient origin, meaning that they have been in existence for at least the last 400 years. Although both areas of woodland were in the past extensively managed as coppice woodland, this is not now evident.
